Obtaining the denomination of origin qualification in 1964, it has an extension of 7.188 Ha. The altitude of the vineyards ranges from 700 to 1000 m, with its limestone soils, with carbonates, under a fertile soil in flat ground.
It is a growing Denomination of Origin for being situated in a privileged area for the production of high quality wines, with some varieties that are developing a tremendous potential, especially in export.
