Jumilla

Nowadays, the quality and personality of its wines is a reality that works to claim its position in the market.

The total area of this D.O. is 42.000 hectares of vineyards, where Jumilla takes up the main extension. The majority of vineyards are of red grapes, cultivated at an altitude of 600 meters above sea level, with more than 3.000 hours of sunshine a year that provide a sunny and arid climate. The Monastrell variety finds the perfect habitat for its development. The Cretaceous soil, the hard climate and the low rainfall contribute to the fact that the grape develops its maximum characteristics of color and flavor.
